Dúrcal (known as La Perla del Valle) is located in a privileged area of Granada, the Valle de Lecrín, situated along the deep channels formed by the river of the same name. Its mountain range belongs to the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, protecting it from the cold winds from the North.
-Río Dúrcal-Los Bolos: is a route that runs alongside an irrigation channel of Nasrid origin where very cool water flows. Therefore, it is a fun and ideal route for the summer months. Along this route, we saw wonderful waterfalls and a few pools where we can cool off.
-Los Baños de Urquizar: About three kilometers from the center, you can visit the famous Baños de Dúrcal, known since ancient times for their beneficial properties. These springs group two well-differentiated births: the Baño Grande or Vacamía and the Baño Chico or Baños de Urquízar.
-Puente de Lata: It was located in the Granada town of Gor at the beginning of the 20th century but fell into disuse. The Granada company of electric trams bought the bridge to bring the tram to Dúrcal, placing it in the Valle de Lecrín.
-Iglesia Inmaculada Concepción: Solid and elegant building erected in the mid-16th century, which was partially destroyed during the rebellion of the Moors. The exterior of the temple stands out for its slender brick tower and the simple facade with a semicircular arch supported on pilasters.
