Albuñuelas is situated to the left of the Río Santo ravine, at one end of the Sierra de Almijara. Due to its altitude, this municipality offers beautiful views of pine and olive landscapes, dotted with spectacular cliffs.
-Torre del Tío Bayo: Ancient watchtower of Arab origin. It is a masonry work with ashlars at the corners, following the pattern of a typical farmhouse tower from the Nasrid period. It is located on the outskirts of the town and has washhouses that are still used by the locals.
-Church of El Salvador: The original church was built in the 16th century, but only a few remnants remain after being set on fire during the Moorish revolts. Several restoration attempts were made until, in the 18th century, the construction of the current church began. The work was carried out in the place where the old convent of the Missionaries of San Pedro de Alcántara was located.
-Los Callejones: The Callejones de Albuñuelas is a rocky gorge excavated by the river as it passes through Albuñuelas. Along its path, you can find trails, climb rocks, and walk along the riverbed.
